Minor changes proposed for Allandale Residences in West Roxbury
Developer Wonder Group has submitted a Notice of Project Change (NPC) to the Boston Planning & Development Agency (BPDA) proposing minor changes to the approved Allandale Residences project in West Roxbury, which will create Boston’s first Net Zero energy-efficient neighborhood; the following is a link to the NPC. The project’s site plan layout has been modified based upon community input and further review of the project site. The revised layout ensures that new buildings are constructed outside of all surrounding wetland buffer zones. Accordingly, 18 total residential units are proposed, down from previously approved 22. 14 new townhouses would be constructed, and 4 units would be constructed in the existing house. One on-site unit would be deed-restricted as affordable housing. A $50,000 contribution would still be made to the City of Boston in order to support the surrounding Allandale Woods conservation area.
