20 new Ashmont apartments proposed
Connelly Construction proposes to construct a new mixed-use building at 1857-1859 Dorchester Avenue in Dorchester's Ashmont neighborhood featuring 20 residential apartments and ground-floor retail. The proposal, in its' early stages, will require approval from the Boston Planning & Development Agency (BPDA) and Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) in order to proceed. Plans for the project have not yet been filed with city officials. Connelly received approval last year to construct another 18-unit apartment building at 8 Banton Street in Ashmont.
