Largest market-rate residential development in Lowell history approved by Planning and Zoning boards
The Lowell Sun reports that both the City of Lowell, MA's Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals have approved 42 Wellman Street, the largest market-rate residential development in Lowell history, for construction. The project now requires approval from Lowell's Conservation Commission to proceed. 42 Wellman Street would contain 240 market-rate residential apartments ranging from studios to three-bedrooms. The $40 million building is developed by KS Partners of Woburn and is located convenient to Route 3 and Interstates 93 and 495 a short drive to Burlington, Boston and Cambridge.
