Letter of Intent filed for new Seaport District hotel

Harbinger Development of Wellesley has filed a Letter of Intent with the Boston Redevelopment Authority to file an Expanded Project Notification Form in early March 2016 for review of a proposed hotel in Boston's Seaport District. Harbinger Development proposes to build a 407-room hotel with 20,000 square feet of retail space at 660 Summer Street.

The hotel would be located in the Boston Marine Industrial Park (BMIP) on Parcel A overlooking the Reserved Channel. The hotel would contain 253 select service hotel rooms and 154 extended stay hotel rooms. Retail space would be built on the hotel's ground and top floors. A parking garage would be built on site with 75 parking spaces.
