Port Landing topped off, exterior finishes nearly complete
The exterior shell at Port Landing is topped off at three stories tall, and installation of exterior finishes is nearly complete. Located in Kendall Square, Port Landing will contain 20 affordable residential units ranging from one to three bedrooms rented to households earning 30% to 60% of Area Median Income (AMI). Visit PortLandingApts.com for rental applications and more information.
Port Landing’s exterior finishes, which consist of bricks, clapboard siding panels and metal panels, are being installed over Dow Styrofoam Square Edge insulation panels (blue) and GP DensGlass sheathing (yellow), which is providing a moisture and mold-resistant barrier. Installation of Paradigm Windows is nearly complete. Roughing in of mechanical and electrical systems is underway along Port Landing’s interior spaces, and framing of residential units is underway. Port Landing’s 16-car underground parking garage is nearly complete, and horizontal wooden slat finishes are being installed surrounding the parking garage entrance ramp on Moore Street.
