New details of the 150 Seaport project were presented at the Boston Redevelopment Authority's Municipal Harbor Plan Advisory Committee Meeting on February 17th, 2016. Developer Cronin Holdings LLC filed a Letter of Intent for 150 Seaport on December 21st, 2015.
The proposed project has prompted a review of the Boston Redevelopment Authority's existing South Boston Municipal Harbor Plan, a guideline for planning and development in
the Seaport District and along the South Boston Waterfront. Specifically, the Boston Redevelopment Authority is pursuing an amendment for the 21,000 square foot proposed 150 Seaport site. The Plan, which dates to 2000, does not include the proposed 150 Seaport site. In 2000, the site was one of the few developed sites in
the Seaport District.
At the February 17th meeting, Cronin Holdings LLC presented new proposal details including harbor setbacks, shadow impacts and building footprints:
