Reebok moving headquarters to Innovation & Design Building in Seaport District
Athletic apparel and shoe company Reebok has announced it will move its’ headquarters from Canton, MA to the Innovation & Design Building in the Seaport District. Reebok will move to the Innovation & Design Building by Fall 2017 and will occupy 220,000 square feet across five floors. Approximately 700 people will be employed at Reebok’s new headquarters. The space will also include a two-story, 30,000 square foot gym, a design lab, a restaurant and an 8,000 square foot Reebok FitHub retail store. Reebok intends to construct a public one-mile running track around the Innovation & Design Building.
Reebok is excited to become a part of Boston’s growing innovative community. “Our new workspace will improve our performance, speed innovation and create a vibrant collaborative culture,” says Reebok president Matt O’Toole. “It will allow us to be closely connected to the broader innovation and design community in Boston, and not in a traditional cloistered corporate environment, which can inhibit creativity.
