Waltham 128 hotel proposal expands with acquisition of adjacent parcel


Second Avenue Hotel, LLC closed last Monday on the acquisition of the 46,077 square foot parcel at 244 Second Avenue along Route 128 in Waltham for $4.5 million. The parcel is located adjacent to the 64,456 square foot parcel at 256 Second Avenue, which Second Avenue Hotel, LLC acquired in July 2015 for $4 million. A locus map of the parcels is posted above. Second Avenue Hotel, LLC is registered to Christine Thomas of Chelsea, MA-based Admirals Hill Office Suites.


With the acquisition, Wicked Local Waltham reports that Second Avenue Hotel, LLC now proposes to build a 190-room, 110,000 square foot dual-branded hotel across both parcels. Second Avenue Hotel, LLC previously proposed to build a 100-room, 64,000 square foot hotel at 256 Second Avenue.
