South Boston developer acquires vacant Andrew Square buildings for $348,493


Last Thursday (September 1st, 2016), South Boston real estate developer Colm Dunphy acquired five vacant attached single-story commercial storefronts located in Andrew Square on a 2,773 square foot lot at 353-361 Dorchester Street for $348,493 as recorded in the Suffolk County Registry of Deeds. The storefronts last sold for $23,500 in 1978 and total approximately 2,409 contiguous square feet; Dunphy's acquisition amounts to $145 per square foot. Dunphy is the owner and developer of 395 West Broadway, a recently completed new-construction 24-unit residential apartment building with ground-floor retail in South Boston.
