Invesco and Margulies Perruzzi seek to transform Fort Point streets with new retail

 

The Boston Herald reports that Invesco Real Estate (Invesco) plans to redevelop three existing Fort Point warehouse buildings with new ground-floor retail space. The buildings are located at 47 Farnsworth Street and 25 and 44 Thomson Place. Plans and renderings for the buildings are currently being developed; a preliminary rendering is posted above. Margulies Perruzzi is the project's architect.


The three buildings are part of Invesco’s $183.5 million acquisition deal with Waltham’s Crosspoint Associates made in April 2015, in which Invesco acquired ten Fort Point warehouse buildings. More information about the Invesco Fort Point Portfolio is posted below.
