New four-unit South Bay building on market for $2.5 million
8 Baker Court, a newly constructed four-unit building in Dorchester located adjacent to South Bay Center, has been listed for sale for $2.5 million. A two-bedroom, two-bathroom unit has also been listed for $539,000, and a penthouse unit has been listed for $749,000. 8 Baker Court features “designed-inspired” finishes and a rooftop deck with sweeping skyline views. The 4,098 square foot parcel at 8 Baker Court sold for $385,000 in October 2015 to real estate development entity Baker Court LLC.
8 Baker Court is surrounded by recent development activity. In May, the Boston Redevelopment Authority approved South Bay Town Center, a 720,000 square foot mixed-use development project for construction on a current South Bay Center surface parking lot. A 14-unit condominium building was recently approved for construction at 85-93 Willow Court. Local developer Cornerstone Real Estate acquired a 5,116 square foot lot at 68 Willow Court for $1.175 million in February.
