Borough President Votes in Favor of 17-Story Forest Hills Mixed-Use Proposal

Following review, Queens' Borough President has voted in favor of an application proposing a 17-story, mixed-use development, at 102-51 Queens Boulevard in Forest Hills, Queens. Applicant, "QBM Properties LLC", is requesting a zoning map and text amendment in order to facilitate the project.

Developed by 

, the building would contain rental apartments, offered in studio and one to three-bedroom configurations. Approximately 54 (25%) of these units would be dedicated to affordable housing. Plans also call for square feet of ground-floor retail space, and an enclosed parking garage, with enough room for vehicles.

Designed by 

, the structure would stand feet tall and total square feet altogether.

The project site spans

square feet and is bound by 68th Avenue, Queens Boulevard, and 68th Road.

Consisting of four separate lots, occupied by three single-story retail buildings and a rear parking lot, these parcels would be combined and rezoned if the proposal is ultimately approved. The buildings would also have to be demolished.
