Boston College Planning New School of Social Work on Mount Alvernia Campus
After acquiring the 23-acre property in October 2023 for over $40M, Boston College has now revealed plans for the site. The college will build a new School of Social Work on the campus with additional plans to renovate around 60,000 of the existing 75,000 square feet. Two buildings, Hayes Hall and a maintenance garage next to it will be demolished with The Provincial House will remain unchanged.
