Boulevard Flow Unveiled at Canopy at West River

Related Urban Group and the Tampa Housing Authority are continuing the development the Canopy at West River, on the site of the former North Boulevard Homes public housing community.  Last week, Boulevard Flow, a stunning steel structure created by New York artist Ya’la Ford that will serve as the centerpiece, was unveiled.  Construction has started on the new residential community in West Tampa, which will add 377 residential units.  Comprised of three towers, the community will offer a combination of affordable, mixed-income and workforce housing.  Amenities include a fitness center, business center, and parking garage which will provide 307 spaces.  Canopy West River is part of the City of Tampa’s West River Redevelopment. The West River neighborhood includes approximately 150 acres of land along the western banks of the Hillsborough River and spans from Downtown Tampa to Tampa Heights.  The redevelopment plan includes housing, retail, office space surrounding parks and walkways along the Hillsborough River.  Canopy at West River is expected to be complete in 2024.
