BPDA Approved 30 Unit Senior Housing Development in Mattapan
The Boston Planning Board has approved the proposed development at 150 River Street in Mattapan. The development will feature 30 income-restricted senior housing apartments along with 1,500 square feet of community space and 12 parking spaces. The city-owned site, just a few blocks from both Lower Mills and Mattapan Square is currently vacant after a nursing home was demolished in 2013.
