Brick finish installation underway at Boston East waterfront apartments in East Boston, artist residence applications begin
Brickwork has been installed along a large section of Boston East’s six-story facade facing Border Street. The building is fully framed, and fireproofing, weatherproofing and windows have all been installed along Boston East’s facade. Inside the building, fit-out of residences and common spaces has begun.
Developer Trinity Financial has begun accepting applications for Boston East’s six artist live-work residences, which will be rented to households earning no more than 70% of Area Media Income (AMI); Boston East will include a ground-floor local artwork gallery. Artist residences will be available for $1,450 per month; rents for market-rate residences at Boston East will range from $2,000 to $4,700 per month, averaging $2,900 per month. Opening in September, Boston East will feature 200 apartment residences along with a new Harborwalk extension and public waterfront space. The following are photographs of Boston East:
