Bronx Residential Tower Breaks Ground
At 2413 Third Avenue in the Mott Haven neighborhood of the Bronx, a groundbreaking ceremony was just held for a new 27-story residential tower. Developer, RXR Realty, held the ceremony as a way to celebrate the company's first-ever project to be located within the Bronx.
Designed by architectural firm, CetraRuddy, the tower will contain 200 residential units. Approximately 60 units (30% total) will be rent-stabilized. The structure will also include an integrated parking garage with space for 81 vehicles.
RXR Realty received $71.2 million dollars in funding for the project through a construction loan issued by Bank of America. Construction is anticipated to take until the fourth quarter of 2023 assuming all goes to plan.
