Brooklyn Mixed-Use Building in Public Review
A proposal for a 5-story mixed-use development at 2134 Coyle Street in Brooklyn's Sheepshead Bay neighborhood has entered public review. Developer, Coyle Properties LLC requested zoning map and text amendments to facilitate a 129,000 square foot building, containing 148 residential units. The building would also contain 32,000 square feet of retail space, have 195 parking spaces, and a further 24 parking spaces for commercial vehicles. The proposal application has just been reviewed and certified at a City Planning Commission review session. Next, the Community Board will have 60 days from the time of referral to hold a hearing and issue a recommendation.
