BXP Wins Approval to Swap Retail Space for Office at Reston Gateway
The Fairfax County Planning Commission has approved Boston Properties plans to swap retail space for office within the Reston Gateway. Updated plans for the Block D building within the 4.5M square foot project would reduce the size from 731,000 to 650,832 square feet, eliminated restaurant space, and reducing retail. Phase 1 of the project which is under construction now will include 2 office towers featuring over 1.4M square feet of space with tenants set to include Fannie Mae & Volkswagen.
