Callahan Construction Managers has completed two new senior living communities, The Residence at Melrose Station located in Melrose and The Residence at Vinnin Square located in Swampscott. Both were developed by LCB Senior Living, with a combined 174 apartments. The communities mark Callahan’s second and third projects with LCB, following Callahan’s successful completion of the 84-unit Residence at Valley Farm in Ashland. All three communities feature Independent and Assisted Living accommodations, along with LCB’s renowned Reflections Memory Care services, tailored for residents with Alzheimer’s disease and other memory impairments
Both the 90-unit Residence at Melrose Station and 84-unit Residence at Vinnin Square are built with structural steel. The buildings range from three to five stories in height, respectively. Each building features both memory care and assisted living units, with amenities including a commercial kitchen, a dining room, activity rooms, outdoor terraces and landscaped grounds. Both communities are located convenient to public transportation.
