Callahan Construction Managers Begins Work on The Residence at Penniman Hill
Callahan Construction Managers has started work on The Residence at Penniman Hill, a new senior living community coming to Hingham. This LCB Senior community will offer both assisted living and memory care facilities spread over the three-story, almost 90,000 square foot facility. The state-of-the-art building will feature 90 apartments along with a fitness center.
Throughout the months of June and July the Callahan Construction Site Division completed demolition of existing structures, including the old Penniman Hill Farm, on the 5.3 acre site. The team then removed debris and the additional underground obstructions that were uncovered. They have now started excavation for the footprint of the building. Callahan expects construction to be complete in late 2019.
