Changes Filed for Johnson & Wales University Campus IMP

has filed a notice of project change to its institutional master plan currently under review in Providence, Rhode Island. The university is planning a new soccer field facility at the Harborside Campus as well as two controlled environment agriculture facilities (CEA) at the Harborside and Downcity campuses. The changes will impact 13 acres within the campus master plan.

In total, the campus institutional master plan calls for 365,000 square-feet of new development in Downcity Providence along Friendship and Pine streets featuring 100-foot, 275-foot, and 210-foot academic towers with 500 dormitory beds. Plans also detailed a 4-building development for the University's Harborside Campus featuring 305,000 square-feet of new office and academic floorspace.
