Chicago City Council Approves Class L Tax Incentive for 801 W. Madison
A Class L tax incentive has been approved by the City Council for the conversion of the Mid-City Trust & Savings Bank Building into a hotel operated by The Neighborhood Hotel. The 6 story conversion will include 21,596 square feet of commercial retail space on the ground floor. The historic building was completed in 1911 and remodeled in 1928, with the bank building being designated an official Chicago Landmark in 2012.
