City Council Approves Multi-Generational Housing Project
The Chicago City Council has approved Abrams Intergenerational Village in Washington Park. The multi-generational housing project will provide support for grandparents raising dependents, independent seniors, and college students experiencing homelessness. The new building will stand 78 feet tall and feature 71 apartments, a plaza with a playground, fitness and community rooms, social services and a parking lot with 24 spaces.
