City of New Bedford to Develop 275 Acre Site, Generate $2.7M Annually
The City of New Bedford proposes developing a 275 site after securing rights from the Federal Government. New Bedford's Whaling Golf Course is the proposed site of a new business park and is expected to generate 1,000 new permanent jobs within the city.
The business park is expected to create 1 million square feet of new office spaceas well as generate $2.7 million in annual property tax revenue.
