City Planning Commission Evaluates Towers for Staten Island
A proposal for a massive mixed-use development in the St.George neighborhood of Staten Island is currently under review by the City Planning Commission. Back in February, developer, Richmond SI Owner LLC, submitted a land-use application requesting zoning map and text amendments to facilitate a 4-building complex called River North (Liberty Towers). The development if approved would consist of two neighboring sites and contain a combined 750 residential units. It would also include 25,900 sqft. of retail, 225 affordable housing units, and parking space for 331 vehicles.
