City Realty acquires 334 Cambridge Street, 54,000-square-foot Allston gateway building, for $5 million
Local real estate developer, investor, property manager and broker City Realty Group has acquired 334 Cambridge Street, a 54,000-square-foot commercial building with significant development potential located at the gateway to Allston, for $5 million. The building was listed for sale through City Realty Group and features authentic historic architecture, as well as the opportunity to construct both vertical and horizontal additions. New residential and commercial space could be offered on upper floors, and retail could be added along street level; a conceptual development rendering of 334 Cambridge Street, courtesy City Realty Group, is posted above. The building's seller is longtime owner Jack Young Auto Parts Company; the building contains a mix of residential, retail and warehouse space. Northern Bank & Trust Company provided $4 million towards City Realty Group's acquisition.
