CMU Superstructure Continues to Rise at 2435 Pacific Street

Masonry subcontractor, Kings Contracting Group, is making significant progress stacking CMU blocks to form the superstructure of 2435 Pacific Street; a 10-story, mixed-use development, going up in Ocean Hill, Brooklyn.

Jointly developed by Alembic Community DevelopmentLove Fellowship Tabernacle, and Brooklyn Community Housing & Services, the building will contain apartment units. These will be dedicated exclusively to affordable and supportive housing, with a focus on families and domestic violence survivors.

Plans also call for square feet of commercial space. This would likely come in the form of ground-floor retail.

Designed by , with  serving as the general contractor, the structure will stand feet tall and total square feet. It is being constructed on what was previously two neighboring lots. Prior to being combined, Love Fellowship Tabernacle owned both pieces of property.
