Commission on Chicago Landmarks Approves Demolition to Make Way for Mixed-Use Development at 900 W. Fulton 

The demolition of a structure at 906 W. Fulton has been approved to make way for a mixed-use development in the West Loop. Plans include rebuilding and rehabbing a series of three buildings at 900-910 W. Fulton. A 4-story building will be rehabbed for residential use with retail space, along with the construction of a new 5-story building on the site at 906 W. Fulton. The facade of the existing building at 910 W. Fulton will also be restored, with a new 3-story residential building replacing the remaining structure behind the facade.  Once complete, the combined development will offer 30,000 square feet of new retail space. The number of residential units and a timeline have not yet been revealed.
