Comstock/Wynn Pitch Casino-Anchored Development in Tysons

With Virginia Sen. Scott Surovell introducing a bill that would allow a casino to open in Fairfax County, Comstock is pitching a massive project along Leesburg Pike near the Spring Hill Metro Station. Early renderings show Encore Casino anchoring the 6-8M square foot development. The project could also offer a performing arts venue, a convention center, and a 600-room hotel. Housing included in the proposal would include at least 20% affordable units. The site of this planned project is currently owned by Tysons Development LLC, a partnership of Clemente Development Co. and a Saudi Arabian businessman who had planned a 5-building, 3M SF development for the property.
