Concrete Pours Begin for The Douglass
Support columns and the first-floor parking deck are being poured at The Douglass, the first building under construction in the Bridge District. The development team is using a sustainable concrete mix that reduces embodied carbon by 30% compared to traditional mixes. The Douglass a 757-unit multifamily building adjacent to Anacostia Park will provide premier work-from-home capabilities, attractive amenities, and services for residents.
