$585M Loan Secured for 500K+ SF Allston Lab Project as Construction Begins
King Street Properties has secured a loan valued at $585,000,000 from AIG for the upcoming Allston Labworks project. Early-stage site prep and demo are underway for the project along Western Avenue. The development will create 3 buildings consisting of 526,000 square feet of office/lab space, 20,000 square feet of ground-floor retail, and an all-electric residential building. Allston Labworks will provide life science companies and the greater Allston community with new creative outlets for exploration. The first building is expected to be complete in late 2024.
