Construction Begins on 12-Story Mixed-Use in Mott Haven
General contractor, , has started foundation work on a large, 12-story, mixed-use project, going up at 40 Bruckner Boulevard in the Bronx's Mott Haven neighborhood.
Developed by , the building is set contain rental apartments, spanning the top 11-floors.
In addition to residential units, the ground floor will offer square feet of retail space, as well as 629 square feet of community facilities.
Although a fully comprehensive list has yet to be announced, 40 Bruckner will feature 30,000 square feet of tenant amenities, including several lounge areas and an indoor-outdoor sunken garden, located right in the lobby. Plans also call for a number of roof terraces, as well as an enclosed parking garage, with enough room for vehicles.
Designed by , the structure will stand feet tall and total square feet.
Spanning square feet, the irregularly shaped project site is bound by Bruckner Boulevard, Alexander Avenue, and East 132nd Street. Although construction is still in the early stages, work is estimated to finish by the Winter of 2024.
