Construction Begins on 174K SF MIT College of Computing Campus in Cambridge
A construction permit for foundation work and a concrete core have been issued to 51 Vassar Street in Cambridge, kicking off the 174,000 SF MIT development. Additionally, Suffolk has been awarded the GC contract for the project.
The site of the new MIT College of Computing, plans call for a new 174,000 SF academic building in Kendall Square. The building is replacing Building 44, located along Vassar Street between Main Street and Massachusetts Avenue.
