Construction Continues on Frederick Douglass Memorial Bridge
Construction continues on the new Frederick Douglass Memorial Bridge with a permit pulled for demo of the temporary trestle adjacent to the bridge, portions of the existing bridge, and structures at the I-295 interchanges. The District’s new bridge is expected to open on October 1, 2021.
