Construction Continues on The Queens Park Plaza Tower
Steel framing is nearly complete for the Queens Park Plaza Tower also known as Sven being developed by The Durst Organization. The 755-foot tall tower will offer 958 residential units along with numerous amenities including a 20,000 square foot fitness center, swimming pool, and co-working space. The development is located adjacent to the historic Queens Clock Tower which is being restored and will include 50,000 square feet of retail space. Work is also progressing rapidly on the building’s concave glass curtain wall which will feature View smart windows. Not only will the View technology offer an additional amenity for residents, providing maximum sunlight without blocking views, but will assist in the goal of reaching LEED Platinum certification. Construction on the tower is expected to be complete in the spring of 2021.
