Construction Going Vertical at St. Petersburg Whole Foods
Developers have secured the construction permit and vertical construction is set to begin at the first Whole Foods store in St. Petersburg. Crews have spent the last eight months doing work on the underground infrastructure and utilities as well as the demolition of Suncoast Fitness and Dollar Store that were on the site. The store will be located at 201 38th Avenue N, a few miles north of downtown St. Petersburg. The Whole Foods store is planned for 40,000 square feet. Plans also call for a free-standing Starbucks on the site. The Suncoast Fitness and Dollar Store that were on the site have been demolished.
