Construction of Dorchester’s 110 Savin Hill Avenue mixed-use development begins
Demolition of existing buildings, including a long-vacant storefront, is now underway at 110 Savin Hill Avenue in Dorchester’s Savin Hill neighborhood, the future site of nine market-rate condominium residences and 10,574 square feet of commercial/retail space. The project has been issued a building permit by the City of Boston, and will replace the storefront and two houses with two new-construction buildings including a residential building along Sydney Street and a commercial/retail building along Savin Hill Avenue. Residences will include one 1-bedroom, six 2-bedrooms and two 3-bedrooms. Commercial and retail space could include a neighborhood market, a restaurant, a cafe or a spa, in addition to office space.
