Construction start imminent on 198 Hanover retail development overlooking North End Greenway
Construction is expected to start imminently on a retail development in the North End overlooking the Rose Kennedy Greenway, located at 198 Hanover Street. The development will replace a dated single-story retail structure with a modern two-story, 5,500-square-foot building featuring a sweeping floor-to-ceiling glass facade and outdoor seating patios. The City of Boston has issued developer Charter Realty & Development a permit to construct the 198 Hanover Street development, allowing the project to proceed.
