Construction to Begin on 17-Story Amazon Tower in Seaport Square
has filed a construction permit valued at $263,900,000 to begin development of the L-5 block at Seaport Square. Plans call for an 17-story commercial tower featuring 707,000 SF of mixed-use research/office space with ground-floor retail.
In addition to 630,000 square feet of office space for Amazon, the project will feature ground-floor retail and a new performing arts center, comprising two live performance venues. Construction is expected to last through 2024.
