Construction to Begin on Meetinghouse Hill Fire Station
has secured a building permit valued at $22,807,000 for 44 Winter Street in Dorchester as construction is set to begin on the new Boston Fire Engine 17, Ladder 17.
The City of Boston is planning for a complete redevelopment of the Boston Fire Department Engine/Ladder 17 House in Dorchester. Plans call for a new two-story building featuring pressurized HVAC systems and a First Responder training facility.
