Construction Underway at Space Coast Resort
Developer Driftwood Capital held the groundbreaking ceremony, and construction has begun at the $420 million Westin Cocoa Beach Resort, Spa and Conference Center. The 502-key development is being constructed on a 13-acre oceanfront site in Cocoa Beach, Florida. The property will include swimming pools, a surfing wave pool, 11 food and beverage venues which will include themed restaurants, fitness center, pickleball and tennis courts along with 51,500 square feet of indoor meeting space and 72,000 square feet of open-air meeting and event space. A parking garage will include 800 spaces. The development is on the site of the demolished International Palms hotel.
