Construction Wraps Up on Roxbury Firehouse
A certificate of occupancy has been issued to Engine 42's firehouse in Roxbury as work finishes on the new building. The new firehouse features a 25-seat training room, 14 bunk rooms to house two companies, 3 extended apparatus bays for additional Boston Fire Department tactical rescue equipment, and 3 airtight zones to prevent particulate spread throughout the house.
