Cunard Tavern restaurant opening at 47 Webster Street on East Boston Waterfront this month
Cunard Tavern, a new restaurant featuring a diverse mix of local and international cuisine, will open this month at 47 Webster Street, a newly built mixed-use building in East Boston located steps to Boston Harbor. Boston Magazine reports that Cunard Tavern will serve unique plates including “octopus dumplings doused with ginger, chopped scallions, and sesame glaze; tuna crudo prepared Sicilian-style with fennel and citrus vinaigrette; and beignets filled with Somerville’s own Marshmallow Fluff.” Drinks will include whiskey, house cocktails and 10 craft beer draft lines.
47 Webster Street’s facade has been fully installed, and fit out of Cunard Tavern as well as the building's yoga studio (The Point East Boston) and four apartment residences is just about complete.
