Demo Begins for Commonwealth Pier Revitalization
Demolition has started at the Seaport World Trade Center for the Commonwealth Pier Revitalization project. Plans call for the demo of the Commonwealth Hall which will add around 170,0000 square feet of new outdoor space. The project will also create 45,000 square feet of new retail space and include updates to the Harborwalk that will include new lights and seating areas Construction is expected to last through 2024.
