Demo Permit App Filed for Portions of Mount Carmel Site in East Boston
The Boston Landmarks Commission has received an application to demolish several structures along Gove Street in East Boston as part of the Mount Carmel redevelopment project. The existing rectory and convent buildings will be demolished to make way for a new 98 unit residential building while the church building will be renovated to feature 14 units. The project will also include parking for 84 cars.
