Demolition Begins on Block D6 in Union Square
Demolition has begun on a garage at 9 Union Square in Somerville to make way for a new planned development at Block D6. Plans call for a two-building development featuring 111,000 square-feet of Class-A office floorspace and 114,000 square-feet of research lab floorspace.
Part of the larger USQ development, plans call for 15.7 acres of biotech, lab, office, residential and retail space.
