Demolition has begun at the Reynard at Walter Reed
The building the building will be approximately 300,000 sq. ft. and include approximately 345 rental apartment units with diverse floor plans, live/work units, upscale amenity spaces, and picturesque balconies overlooking the nearby Marketplace and Great Lawn. The project has the objective of obtaining a minimum of LEED Silver.
The development is part of the the multi-phase, 66-acre development at The Parks, which will eventually deliver over 2,100 residential units, 150,000 sq. ft. of retail; two charter schools; offices, a hotel, and creative spaces. The development will also feature over 14 acres of parks and green space.
