Demolition on MIT Building 44 Nearly Complete
Demolition work on MIT's building 44 is nearly complete as the university prepares to build a new facility for the College of Computing Sciences.
The new Stephen A. Schwarzman College of Computing Building will serve as a hub for research and innovation in computer science, AI, data science, and related fields and should hold around 50 faculty members. The location selected is near to existing computing and A-focused departments and just a few minutes from Kendall Square.
