Demolition Set to Make Way For Brand New Civic Center in Greenwich
Demolition of the old civic center on Harding Road is set to commence in order to make way for a new facility. Named the Cohen Eastern Greenwich Civic Center after The Steven and Alexandra Cohen Foundation, which donated to the project, it will be a 35,000+ square foot facility. It will have a full-size gym with spectator seating, meeting rooms, and multi-use event space. On top of that, it will also include outdoor areas including a children's playground.
